Children's
Our children’s chinks/chaps are made of quality chap leather – the same we use on our adult pairs. They have a single layer four-inch fringe cut from the chap body unless they are an upgraded pair with a different color fringe. They have an adjustable front tie and back buckle, and are designed to grow with the child from chap to chink length. Below we have listed the length of each size. We recommend that you measure the child's outseam (from bottom of waistband on jeans to floor - running along the seam on the outside of their jean leg) and compare to the size chart. If you are unable to take this measurement, we have provided some approximate age ranges to help you. Please remember that there is a large discrepancy in children's heights at various ages and your child may wear something outside of the listed age range. If you need help selecting a size, please reach out to us for help.

*** Please note, if you are an adult ordering a Hank size chink for yourself, the children's pairs, including the Hank, which is a youth x-large or adult small economy pair, do not include all the reinforcements that would be included on an adult working pair of chinks. They are more suitable for a trail-riding chink than a "working" chink.
Adult Chinks
Our adult chinks start with a base price of $250 for a chink with 6 inch fringe. These pairs include all the reinforcements standard on our regular adult chinks. Should you be looking for an economy chink for a smaller sized adult, please see the Hank model listed under children's pairs. The Hank comes in one size and does not have the reinforcements included standard on our other chinks. If you are custom ordering chinks, any of our standard chinks will be made to your measurements. For in-stock pairs, please contact us and we will tell you how to take your measurements. When you give us the measurements you took, we will lay out the pair you are interested in, compare them to your measurements, and then advise whether we think that pair will be a good fit for you, if they can be modified to fit you better, or if we just need to make another pair similar to them for your measurements.
